An American Family:
The William Clark Family Collection
The story of a family, told through
the things they left behind. The focus of this
exhibit is on the importance of a family during the 19th
Century, cultural influences and the human side of the
man that became
famous.
This exhibit contains items on loan from the
personal collection of William Clark's great-great-great
grandson, Peyton "Bud" Clark
II.
The items in this exhibit may not
pertain directly to the Lewis & Clark Expedition or
their winter in North Dakota. Instead, many of the
artifacts are actually from William Clark's family.

Shelterbelts: January
24- February 12
Artists from across North
Dakota have created works that examine the agricultural

ranching and a new visual landscape as miles and miles
of shelterbelts and tree claims
disappear.
Artists' Self
Portraits: May 1- May 28
Featuring 30-35 artists with connections to North
Dakota. Each artist has approached his or her self
portrait uniquely. The exhibition consists of
straight-forward work as well as the symbolic through many
mediums such as paint, clay, fiber, and
photography.
These
exhibits have financial support for travel expenses to
qualifying schools. Click here to be directed to
